Closed Loop Recycling
We partnered with an Indian multinational paint company to address plastic waste generated at their manufacturing plant. We collected post-consumer plastic waste and ensured traceability to meet EPR mandates. Our collaboration with the paint company’s R&D team led to the creation of granules from packaging waste. Our efforts have been successful, with approval to use 7% – 20% of recyclates in their paint containers, and a plan for a nationwide plastic waste management initiative in India.
Creating Recycling Awareness
While the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan initiative swept across the nation, we joined with the country’s largest downstream oil company to pick up littered plastic waste and raise awareness about waste segregation. We shared our expertise to support and improve their recycling efforts.
Our collaboration resulted in a partnership with their R&D team for Shree renga polyester pvt Ltd to develop recyclates for their marketing and provide products to the oil company’s client base.
